Green River Rendevous Pageant Visit Pinedale

Green River Rendezvous

For four exciting days in mid-July, Pinedale honors the mountain men, explorers and Native Americans of this historical area with the annual Green River Rendezvous. The Rocky Mountain Fur Trade of the early 1800s brought trappers and explorers to the Green River Valley, and mountain men like Jim Bridger forged the path for the pioneer caravans of the Oregon Trail.

You can celebrate these early explorers’ impact on the history of westward expansion in the United States at the Rendezvous. From Museum of the Mountain Man activities to a show-stopping parade, to historical re-enactments and nightly rodeos, you’ll be happy to know that cultural events are in high supply … and so is the beer.

Wind River Mountain Festival Visit Pinedale

WIND RIVER MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL

Pinedale is Wyoming’s first Continental Divide Trail Gateway Community, and every July, you can celebrate the Wind River Mountain Festival, which highlights this 100-mile long area — one of the most intact, untouched areas in the country. The Winds boast Wyoming’s highest peaks, hundreds of active glaciers, and thousands of alpine lakes within their half-million acres of Federally-designated Wilderness.

With live music, educational clinics, adventure races, craft beer and more, the Wind River Mountain Festival showcases Pinedale as the beating heart of the Wind River Range, your true gateway to the outdoor adventure lifestyle.
