Sidehilling and reading backcountry terrain. Skills to traverse backcountry slopes, up and down. Riding in powder.

About the Instructor:
Age 38, Sandy Sletten grew up in Evergreen, Colorado and has been riding snowmobiles since he was 10. His first sled was a 1977 John Deere Cyclone 340, and ever since, snowmobiling has been his life. After graduating college, Sletten's competitive nature led him to the snowmobiling racing circuit in 1999 while working alongside at Bucky’s Outdoors, a Polaris snowmobile dealership in Pinedale, Wyoming (in which he is now the owner). His racing career spans over 15 years and Sletten is a current team member for the Polaris Factory Race Team. Powersports is his passion of this ever-changing industry where he strives to showcase the latest snowmobiles and snowmobile riding styles and stands at the forefront of these innovations for his clients.
