Outdoor Enthusiasts Welcome – Activities
The best way to see Pinedale's mountains is from the back of a steady trail horse headed into the back country for a week long stay. Or is it better to hike those ever changing trails with your backpack and boots? Then there is the local favorite drift boat and fly fishing down the Green. Whatever style of transportation you choose, the mountains, rivers and trails of Sublette County will captivate you. Cast a fly, throw a hitch, pitch a tent, and click a shutter.
Celebrate Green River Rendezvous Days, July 12-15
If the solitude of the endless high country gets too big, come on down to town and enjoy some of the festivities! Join the locals in Pinedale the second weekend in July to celebrate Green River Rendezvous Days, a tribute to the historic gatherings held in the area where the mountain men and Indians traded furs for next winter's supplies, and some social entertainment.
